Other Northland schools can also become involved by contacting the TTTA Manager, Denise Jelicich, based at Tikipunga High School.
Tikipunga High School is the lead school in the Te Tai Tokerau Trades Academy
Our students have access to the practical aspects of trades through work based placements as well as the experience of building Go-carts.
2014 saw the introduction of the Maori Performing Arts and Carving Academy. This course utilises the staff at Te Wanaga O Aotearoa working alongside Tikipunga High School staff to create a pathway for our creative trade students.
All of our academy courses includes a First Aid course, Health and Safety training and specific academy related courses like a ramset course.
