Welcome to Te Taitokerau Trades Academy

Te Taitokerau Trades Academy provides students the opportunity to learn a trade while still at high school, giving them a head start towards a National Trade Certificate and their NCEA accreditation.

Te Taitokerau Trades Academy provide a wide variety of practical courses including Carpentry, Automotive Engineering, Hospitality, Environmental Trades, Agriculture/Horticulture, Art, Electronics/Electrical and Maori Performing Arts & Whakairo/Carving.

  • The Academy is currently run through four hub schools and five satellite schools across Northland. All Academy providers offer their own trades programmes chosen to reflect the needs of the students and their community.
